A Pharmacist with more than 30 years experience in the Pharmaceutical, Diagnostic and Device sectors. Originally, with large global companies David has successfully transferred the skills to the smaller enterprises. He has undertaken a number of spin-outs and start–ups, the most recent from Oxford University and shows he has extensive experience in linking the output of academic research to small companies and then onward to larger organizations.
David has strong links with the Oxfordshire region through involvement with Oxfordshire Bioscience network (previous Chair), Board of Governors Oxford Brookes university and non executive director of Venturefest Ltd

Kurt has built up a large network of contacts throughout the sector working with small & medium businesses, specifically in project management, market analysis, business development & planning and strategic implementation. He has held positions with the Oxfordshire Bioscience Network and Oxford Capital Partners. He is the author of the OBN BioCluster Report 2008, utilising his extensive knowledge of the formation and operation of clusters. At the start of 2009 he submitted a report for the Shadow Cabinet recommending a number of potential initiatives to facilitate the role out of Clean technology Incubators within the UK.
Kurt holds an MBA specialising in corporate strategy, having previously graduated in Business Economics with Business Law. He enjoys scuba diving and has spent a year teaching diving as an instructor in Grand Cayman, which he often quotes as the “best place in the world to dive”.
